Wouldn't call her overpowered, this looks evenly matched so far. And wouldn't call a Megane OL Fox generic either. If anything, Snow Leopard just reminds us of King from Tekken. Been there, done that.

I think Mai will win, having her match vs Rio is a better way to tell about both characters' past, than having Mai sit out (or even die).
Mai vs King will probably not be onesided in Mai's favor as it was in Leo's favor, in order to further establish Leo as a future tough opponent (perhaps on the same league as Koyomi, who defeated Tiga).
