Yeah, given the fact that the author bothered to deliver their backstory, how they grew up together it doesn't make any sense. I was expecting her to reappear, for it to be some kinda ruse. But then again he just off'd Tes like that and now we don't even get a reason anymore for those fights. Why did they even participate?

I'm starting to think the author just has no clue where this story is going anymore and he kills of characters so people are shocked enough to stick with him.
