If you read a lot of the author's manga, you'll realize that most of them ends with open ending and the just resuming the universe with other characters, it's just neverending action galore you should not think of everything too deeply lol.

No, no, you're misunderstanding things. That just means that they would have had to do surgical work on her so that when she comes back she has some new equipment added. Lose an arm, gain a penis makes perfect sense to me in this story. One of the reasons I love this manga is the craziness of it.

In all serious though, what makes the most sense is for Rio and Pure to take over the roles that Taz and Mai once did for the other.
