Possibly. I’m 90% sure what he sees isn’t remaining life span but possibly something that just closely corresponds to it. The way he causes her death will probably be obvious to anyone that sees his actions, but he’s too blind to understand. Just like how he sees a stalker isn’t wrong as long as there’s love.
