It's a very strong commentary on the impact of war on those actually fighting it. This is one of my favorite manga although I always put off reading it for a while when I see it updates. I'm afraid of what I'm going to find out.

All of this because they can't get rid of some indestructible grimoire. Seems like you could sink it in concrete or molten lead or something and then drop it in the bottom of the ocean. Not destroyed but good luck using it.
