I wonder why Akari was trying to talk to them at school while being nervous?
Either she had been cast out of the cool group and was trying to become friends with the otaku group, or perhaps she had been cornered with something and told to approach them at school.
If it's the former then it could have gone differently if she had started off with an apology rather than acting like she hadn't done anything before.
I wonder if it's going to turn out that Riko was the one who told Akari not to talk to them in the first place or something like that?
This didn't seem very clear to me either. I think when Tomiko was saying her cuteness was the cause of bullying that was referring to Akari being targeted by Riko.
It took me a while, but I remember now. It's been so long, and confusing, that we've all forgotten, but this is the cycle with Moriko's "Friend" group: There's always the one girl they keep around just to pick on until she leaves. First it was FMC, now it's Tomita. It's just more of the same thing we've seen before. Now that they found a crack in her character- an excuse to turn her into the punching bag after Tomita's outburst, they milked it for all it's worth. Now the girl's coming to them with her tail between her legs because she lost her "friend" group.
But she's also a two-faced bitch, so she's doing that toxic woman thing where they just show up back into your life without so much as a "Sorry" and expect you to take them.
I still don't understand why the Riko said that Tomita should be ashamed. If anything, Akira was being two-faced.
When does she say that in this chapter?
That other blonde(?) popular girl prolly ostracized her after Tomiko called her two face, if they weren't already planning to do something b/c she accidentally flirted with a boy they liked or so (if she didn't have codependency issues or like "i HAVE to have friends or so", tho she did steal her sisters boyfriend? so if things had been diff she could've easily ended up like kanae and also sold herself)
Sasuga woman.
