I'm sure that lots of guys reading this would like it, but I just know (from personal experience - surprisingly similar to this) that many would find it a bit off-putting. Although I suppose it's rarely enough to make a guy not be interested at all, you can basically do anything you want as a girl and still succeed. The closeness is probably enough to outweigh all of that. It kinda was enough for me, but I didn't really enjoy some of those parts. I suppose I just don't do well with teasing and being forced to do some of this stuff was more annoying than pleasant. It made me feel a bit disrespected at times.

It's just interesting to see some of my experiences be retold like this. This seems to be a female author, so I guess it's not uncommon for women to think like this and enjoy doing these things. To be clear, I don't think it's malicious or wrong. It's just interesting I guess.

Sorry if my thoughts are a bit sloppy here, this just reminded me of my teenage years.

Are you claiming I was a tsundere haha? 😅 Nah, I think that some things are just not fun for everyone. If I didnt have those interactions and we did something else, I would have enjoyed myself much more. I honestly felt a bit disrespected and while interacting with a girl offset that a bit at that age, that part wasnt really fun for me, looking back on it.

That's may be the case, but as an interaction that could lead to romance I think that it is overall a "fumble" (as far as such a thing is even possible for girls). I think that a lot of women dont realize when they fumble like this, thinking that it is actually attractive, and I honestly get the same vibe from this author (no shade though, it's still fun to read). For example, things like playing hard to get which many women think is a good strategy but which is usually not something that makes a guy more attracted but rather something that guys tolerate.

But I think that it is clear that this is a romance manga and that the glances that the author has shown her make towards him indicate that she is supposed to be interested in him romantically. She forces physical touch scenarios exactly like the way the girl I met as a teenager did, and it was clear what the intention of that was. I just think that a lot of women genuinely don't realize that some of these other actions shown here can actually be very off-putting, like in this case forcing him to do her hair, giving him a girly hairstyle, teasing him about quitting baseball and talking about exes in the way that she did.
