Felt like it didn't need to be extended another arc. Like what others said it just felt forced, it could've ended happily, but the author decided to extend it for no reason. Still reading it, however, I want to see how this ends.

Edit: After reading the raws, I understand why the author did the extended arc. Still, the chapter 20-25/26 arc, felt like it dulled the ending. I still liked it however, may not be your cup of tea, but it still hits you in the gut. Like what others said, don't bother reading after volume 3, it's just plain painful and the writing makes no sense.
They just chose to fuck up the plot and thought it would still be readable...
