.....I was expecting a dark end where the girl eats him, and he is dead, and the manga end there a shit ending, but it still ends

I read this years ago and remember hating the "ending" (if you can all it that).

Re-reading it again still leaves me with the same vibe. This manga was almost pointless. You can feel the axe coming from a mile away as the last like 3 chapters give you whiplash.

A very mid ending but we all saw axe-kun coming. The twist of the mouth ending was meh. It would have been nicer if either MC died or they could explain why he survived and was just a normal human.

if it wasnt for the axe i bet this could have had a better fleshed out story and end but as it stands i think the idea that something he had as a child caused the mouth to transfer to him. would have been an interesting final arc to the story if not for the axe
