Why it's weird?
Weird is when they make 5 girls or more in a mega harem just because.
This is one is just a regular poly relationship, something that is more common than most people know (it's just that as far I know most poly people don't make it public)

How many poly people do you know? And could that be biased or influenced by your circle of friends rather than the general population? I've never heard of or met anyone poly, and I have met plenty of people. I've heard of swingers and people having intimacy with another person, but that usually isn't included in the relationship itself, and people tend to be very open with me, more so than with others. I doubt poly relationships make up even 3% of the population, and looking at academic research seems to back me up with studies suggesting a likely 2-5% in studied regions. (And i looked that up after i claimed 3%)

And I don't have any issues with poly relationships; in fact, I'd be interested to meet someone in real life that did have one. And I like how this story handled the poly relationships. Just don't like seeing claims made with anecdotal evidence to make it seem more prevalent than it actually is.

More common it's not exactly common, it's just not as rare as people think.
The thing is, most poly couples don't publicly say they are poly, and you can read the comments in this manga to understand why.
I know some people who are, I don't know their age for sure, but they are all adults
