Alright, It was fun to read before chapter 7 and 8. Now it's just built from misunderstanding, I hate to drop this but it just pisses me off so much...

Didn't give up due to rejection, actually wanted to improve himself, followed through it, finds out the excuse was a sham, tells his crush to find their happiness as that is his happiness, wants to still follow through his goals, and likely hasn't give up yet.

I know most (defo me) would've given up drawing right then and there when they confirmed that it didn't even matter.
