I don't understand people who criticise this because it didn't developed how they wanted.
Did they fail to notice the author speaking through the main character about how it know all about love stories in manga and how to write them and what works and what not? The whole premise of this story was challenge these conceptions.
The main character even struggle for being forced to swim from the deeps of manga and live the real world and real relationships and Lear how they differed from her fantasies.
The story not going how those people expected was the point, no?
If you simple don't the character this is a different discussion.
