If Mint and Noa got together, would that count as his wish being fulfilled? Because he did specifically wish for a girlfriend.
Someone commenting on a previous chapter said the mangaka is trans (haven't confirmed that myself, though) - in which case, it's likely they'll be respecting the characters' gender identity rather than assigned or (presumed) biological gender . . .
It's pretty obvious Noa prefers things the way they are . . . and going by Mint's responses to just about everyone (Noa in particular, but also at least a few of the genderbent guys) it seems like they're at least a little bit queer - at the very least bi, who knows how cis they end up being . . .
One thing I find annoying about this kind of thing is the assumption that everyone needs to wear gendered clothes - in this particular situation I'd have thought what mattered was whether something fit well enough to be wearable, not whether it was "for" girls or boys. Obviously the GM is driving things
here, and I guess it could be seen as helpful as a way to break people out of their default mindset, but they're really just letting the trope play out.
Regardless, looking forward to seeing where this goes.
