Some questions to ask.

• Why is Tsubame at the bottom of the metaphorical abyss? Why are her eyes covered? Who actually found who?
• The line she reads out loud is about hopelessness and being given strength by another. Why does that line speak to her?
• A bit of a stretch, but why does Tsubame get a contrasted realization panel when Sakura says she can't keep up with others? Page 28.
• Why did Tsubame transfer schools?
• This gets touched on soon but why does Tsubame pull a drama club from nowhere and why is she so excited to find someone talented as Sakura?

While the pacing in the first chapter is lightning quick, the whirlwind start is used effectively to get you not thinking about these things. The focus is all on Sakura. And it's still not too fast to hammer in "I've fallen in love!" 4 times. Got its priorities gay.

It's neat to see the panel changes in the volume release vs the individual chapters
