A thought just came to me...I wonder if we're going to end up getting a MC shift. The title doesn't make sense from his point of view, after all...however, it would if it shifts to her narrating after he eventually dies....

See, it can actually be pretty decent if it just takes itself seriously. Like, the previous chapters (not the first) were a bit TOO silly and nonsense for me to feel any real attachment to them. Sure, some humor is fine, but it felt out of place with how much it tried to be funny. Now it comes back out and actually becomes fairly good. I just hope it maintains that instead of opting to fall back to how it was.

What I understand is the fact that he suddenly disappeared five years ago the day of her birthday even though they were childhood friend and ( in love with each other) if this means he completely stopped talking to her without giving her a good reason / explanation... well yeah she’s not the one to blame for her he just decide to ghost her the fucking day of her birthday and stop completely his relationship with her .... if that really how it’s happened that dude is kinda stupid. @theguywithoutanyname omg if that’s really what’s going to happen it will really hurt + I have the feeling mc never gonna tell her he is sick so she probably gonna learn about his death just like that

I want to know what happens to the MC after this. Did he not show up because he got hurt or did he not show up because he chose not to. If he got hurt then how she is acting makes no sense. It would be straight abandonment. No real friend is going to be like oh well and leave and just never say anything.

girl knows where he lives. not like he could hide anywhere and instead of trying to figure out if there's something wrong with someone she's been close with for years and reach out to him, she's just got up and gone.

seeing the state of the world and its lack of empathy in everything I suppose most people here sympathize more with the girl instead and it shows lol. man I hope none of you hoping the mc to die ever find yourself in a hopeless vulnerable situation as him. especially if you're still young and dependent on your parents. it'll be super rough.
