@Dezaki I didn't forget. Kidnapping Iska was not a royal order, Rin acted alone. Alice is the direct superior of Rin, and thus responsible for her personal actions. She also goes along with the kidnapping, like you mentioned. Alice is equally guilty, if not more.

Rin is more of a footsoldier, while Alice is a commander. Rin broke the ceasefire, commiting a warcrime in the process, with permission from Alice.
