Wow, it ended mid-volume, even if this was just an LN ad, that's an odd place to axe the manga. It also ends at around the same spot the current season of anime stopped mid-season. I wonder if they're related, and if this means anything about whether they'll actually try to finish the anime season, or just give up on it entirely.

On principle I don't read novels with mangas that tell me to read the novel for the conclusion.

Same. The art style, while looking rather off at first glance, grew on me because of how it managed to look cool in fight scenes and also funny when doing jokes. A shame it ended like this.
