Hi guys, I'm back again with another chapter. It's the 5th chapter I scanlated and the 500th upload I've done on MangaDex. 🎉
We've finally reached the end of the countdown and this wasn't the twist I was expecting. I was fully expecting that goodbye with Hayama to be the last time we see her (for a long time), but instead we get a body falling out of a storeroom.
I know she wanted to look pretty in a yukata for the fireworks festival (and I'm sure she picked up on the upcoming love confession), but I hope it was worth missing the countdown for... 😅
As a TL note: I pretty much left 正三尺玉 untranslated as shousanshakudama, as it's the type of fireworks that is considered the centerpiece and specialty of the Nagaoka fireworks festival.
As always, I hope people enjoyed the chapter and that I managed to do the original work justice and hopefully I'll be back for the next chapter.

I'm making a similar prediction. Time travel happened. My first guess was that that might be the grandma but the figure is wearing male clothes so probably not.

Maybe I should try hitting my head on a tin pale. See if I time travel. Oh I love a good self fulfilling prophecy. You have to wonder how the loop started. There's some initial point where he never went back in time for the grandmother to start them on the mystery that caused him to go back in time. This was an interesting chapter. I guess I should go and actually read the rest.
