I want to take this time to thank VanScans for picking this up. The tri-story robot bullshit wasn't really for me, but I've been hoping for a good story like this from Matsuena Shun since HSDK ended.

My swordsmanship soul compelled me to drop this bullshit manga simply because the writer dub the "katana" as the civilian tool. The best dueling weapon to use is a smallsword, jian, or a dagger. This is not subjective, it's a fact because these weapons weigh less and it offers ease of intricate movements with those weapons to apply precise technique. Katana are chambered type of weapons like longswords. There needs to be an arc to generate power in order for the weapon to deal significant damage. That's why daggers, smallswords, or jians are the best for dueling because they rely on thrusting techniques-while the jian is more versatile offering some cutting power. Thrusting techniques are faster because there aren't much preparatory movements involved in a thrust. No, just no. There limits to how much you can tout your horn and boast about your stupid weapon but really now..katana are the last type of weapon i'd use if i was an assassin. I'd rather use a wakizashi. Such trash.

@kanaloa Do you get to enjoy any series at all if something like that ruins it for you? What are there, like five series on this entire site that use the right weapons for the right jobs? Authors tend to roll with rule of cool and all.

@Glomoro I'm quite picky with what I read. It only make the ones that I stick with that much more better to read unlike people who are okay with mostly everything. It shows that they pretty much have no taste or preference because they're always compromising to the writer's whim. As a reader the more you read the more you should KNOW what you like-an acquired preference. If this isn't the case for you or anyone else I seriously wonder why they're even reading at all. It's kind of like questioning one person why they're alive and their answer is "I'm alive because I'm alive". Well if you're alive and not dead does it make any difference if you die since you have no reason to live? It's the same for reading or doing anything. You should have a reason for what you do or at least make the best of it because only by giving meaning to something would there be value in it. So even if I have nothing to do I rather waste the time on something that's valuable to me. Most writers nowadays are rolling with the overrated stuff and thats why I'm rejecting more and more of them while being extremely glad when I get new updates for the ones I'm still subscribed too. Trash like that manga up there is not one of them.
