Her anatomy in the panel when she hits him looks odd. And I state that fully aware of her normal anatomy!

I looked at the booty, the looked at her upper body trying to figure out what was going on there, then gave up and went back to the booty.

Okay, I was confused about the punch scene too.

She swings with her right hand, punches, then does a near complete twist with her upper body. The raised arm in the "front" is her left arm.

She basically hit him with her entire upper body's momentum. The most powerful "tsundere" punch I've seen to date.

She's right, but given her apparent strength and the fact she went at him full-force, that punch would probably have done far more damage than that masked freak did. We're talking about dislocated jaw minimum, here.

am i horribly misinterpreting what the story is about? or did the teacher just change his tune from a few chapters ago.
or maybe only results matter. the manga is not as explicit about this, but it was at least said in the bridge scene.
