While I've been enjoying this series, it does remind me of how much I miss Kenichi... and also how much Matsuena started to drop the ball after the DoD arc when Kenichi's development slowed to a crawl while the focus became all about the Masters he'd never actually be able to fight in a million years.

Hopefully, we'll get to continue to focus on Eito's growth here and not pull a second Kenichi.

It's upto Matsuena, how he develop story in future.
Reading the raws, he is only focussing on these three. But maybe he'll play out same as kenichi, dogura magura is same as the evil organisation, in kenichi having professional comparable to that agent teachers with their own evil students.
I agree with you, in the last arc matsuena did focused on the teachers more and give little development to kenichi. Let's see how this turns out.
