Tk god he went for the "unreliable" play very soon... normally in most romcoms that would drag a stupid misunderstanding for few chapters.
Is possible that the Kyodou guy said that about her scared of being made fun of and he actually might liked her... after all if u get to know her better theres no way u wouldnt. But why she has his number saved? She should forget about the harpin and that guy regardless.
