They actually dropped it before I did my chapter, but I convinced them to give chapter two a shot. I just finished TLing chapter 3 about 30 minutes ago! I've been in contact with Platinum Crown's leader (and I did the cleaning for chapter 2) and once they post chapter 2 to MD I'll be posting chapter 3

The series itself is, and currently has more than 20 chapters, released every other Saturday. Chapter 3 will hopefully be up sometime tomorrow and I'll be working on chapter 4 soon too

I'm a one-man group, so I can't make any promises on timeline, but I do hope it'll be fairly consistent on my end

Let's see, used to work as a programmer, now single and not working full time at a menial job. Yup, that's me. Though I quit for health reasons, not relationship issues. Don't regret my choices one bit.

I can understand why becoming a social pariah can be a bit hard on you, especially if you're already working a stressful job.

Well, it's a well-paying job, even if I wouldn't call it "prestigious". People look at you sideways if you go down in pay (probably especially if you're male), unless you got screwed over by outside forces.

I don't think your job title will be a programmer unless you are a contract (temp) job

My contract used to say "programmer". Permanent position. Well, until I ended it. What it actually entailed was quite a bit wider, though. Tech support manager, electronics purchasing manager, delivery person... And also programming databases, websites, excel sheets, various apps and UIs, etc.

I mean, like, the distance is so far
I couldn't even remember some of my family members' job
and I can understand if he used to be a CEO or Doctor or something, you know, some titles that would make some heads turn
and they said that he used to work at famous company, let's say like Sony or Mitsubishi or Fujitsu or Google
unless those staff are also programmers, I think most people will just remember the company name

Gossip can travel far. I've heard gossip with longer roundtrips than that. In this case we know that it was something a lot of people gossiped about at his old job, since that was why he left, so if one of the people at the new place met that niece's boyfriend and heard it, they might've connected the dots. It's not that far, just not too likely.
