So also remember when dude tried to keep the coffee pot topped up and they literally made it a new hire's job to do it before him? He was toxic, persona non-grata. No one interacted with him for fear of getting the ire of whoever he offended. No computer, no files, just sit there and stare at your desk until the boss leaves and you can go home.
(and technically not the same, no bonuses)

There is a reason solitary confinement is used as a punishment.
Ok, that sounds awful. My toxic trait may be that I'd take out my GameBoy and just play some Super Mario.

I know this is a bit late, but you didn't seem to understand how horrible it sounds. It's supposed to be his punishment, so they wouldn't allow him to bring out a GameBoy. Even if he has no work, he still has to act like he is in an office. So no mobile, no sleeping, no comics, no long bathroom breaks, no doing anything to stave off boredom. No doing anything you you wouldn't do if you were a normal employee. If normal can't bring out a GameBoy, then he also can't bring one out. If they weren't even willing to allow him to change the coffee machine once, in the morning, then there's no way they would allow him to do anything likt bringing a GameBoy.

That was underwhelming.
I get conflict and drama might not have been the focus but still, her situation with her father is never addressed again? The author goes out of their way to create two veritable vilains but ends up doing nothing with them and has them, almost elegantly, take the L with next to no push back from the pushover protagonist and simply move on with their lives? Her struggle with making more friends because of her proximity to the one she's got, and the envy other girls direct at her because of him neither has any implications on her bubbly personality but is also only ever addressed again (as resolved) after a time skip?
That's not an "unneventful, sweet, short slice of a simple life"; that's bad plot and character development. There's no payoff to anything, the guy barely even struggles to crawl out of his rut, let alone react negatively to her threatening to make malicious accusations about him, who became depressed and withdrawn after having malicious accusations made about him.

Still, every translation is a work of love and dedication. Thanks for that.
