Really sane takes here overall, considering they are still going to school. But even school kids can be weird and need to be put in their place at times and this clearly is one of them with him being so overbearing.

He literally is the exact same character from "Toaru Tenin to Kyaku no Hanashi", the story with the waitress. Her blonde childhood friend was just like him at first, only difference them being college students. She, just like the FMC here, insantly put him in his place but the blonde dude got worse over time, heavily jeopardizing her relationship with the MC and even physically assaulting her multiple times in public "for fun". It was such a weird experience and he sadly never really got any repercussion.

Hope this one treats it a bit more seriously and not just for "comedic relief" and "fun". So weird.

"He's waiting to catch you off guard."

Mei accidentally revealed his own nature there. No wonder Nina doesn't want to go to his place.

So she is underage. That changes some things. Still, if she's going there by her own free will, he's not committing a crime, unless it's different in Japan. But that would also mean it'd be illegal for her to live at either place, which would leave his mother liable.

Well, he does "allow" her to stay there. That at least gives him some credit.

That's a question he deserves an answer to. If she wants to live with him, she has to be willing to explain why.

Damn, I wanted to give the guy the benefit of the doubt because it makes sense to be a little worried for your friend but he turned out to be a prick real fast.
I'd still kind of give him the benefit of a doubt. As in, he's still in the negative, but he can get better. But probably not.

Yeah I was conflicted whether to translate that part as him confessing five times, or just her receiving five confessions.
The difference between those two is quite significant. One means he's a probably douche who won't give up even if he should (though she doesn't seem negatively affected by it, since she was still considering it), and the other doesn't say anything about him, specifically.

she should've said "You're being a creep I'm not comfortable staying in your house" so he finally gets a hint lol
Well, it's not what she actually feels. And honestly, that she doesn't is one of two reasons I'm willing to give him a chance at redemption at all.

she also kinda implies that she has bad social skills in real life.
I've seen a surprising amount of streamers who're introverts. It's a whole different social skillset.

Edit: Honestly I don't think CF crossed any lines here. He showed the appropriate and reasonable amount of concern for someone important to him. The fact he backed down when she insisted shows how reasonable he is and how he genuinely respects Nina's feelings.
I don't think he crossed any lines if you go by "clumsy at social interactions" standards. However, for someone who is good at that, he went over the line. Not unreasonably so, though.

Yep, fucking called it, she didn't tell the friend that SHE was the one insists on staying.
She's the one insisting on staying while talking to him, though, so I think that's a bit redundant.

Male childhood friend always become one of the worst character to ever exist, especially with this guy, his hair style is awfully cringe if he were in my country he would call "jamet"
