Legaly yes, but scocialy not realy. Some people are real idiot and will never try to know the detail. Men losing everythings because of an unfounded rumor is quite common, and it's always either the "he's a pedo" or "he raped me".
Quite a lot of men lose everythings because they had sex with a girls that was like 5 year younger than them, was of legal age to chose who she had sex with but was still a minor. Most of the time these things happen because the girl family lose their mind and force the girl to give false testimony.

The last two months have been pretty crazy. I'm ashamed to admit I've been playing catchup most of that time and haven't been able to focus on this as much as I'd like.
