oh - I did not read it as a dirty joke, but just as the weirdo sorta-mean guy saying how "of course I would want to be a frilled lizard, I get frills [and those are cool looking]"
The "two" part I took to mean because the frills are kinda separated on either side of the lizard's head, so it could be called having "two" of them. But now that I see what you were getting at initially, I might just not be seeing the joke, either.
