I think all of the sage’s apprentices are cursed with power and horror. For example his master is curse with seeing things in a monstrous outlook and the new witch is reversed to have a monstrous appearance and voice. The ML must have the ability to nullify curses only that might change the perspective of him or those around him, but only curses because his classmate was disguised even to him.

The tragedy is about a past event. This is a really unique title and the world structure is already insane with every part of the dialogues containing hints. So far, it looks really great.
