I can't hate the dad man he's just sitting there in peace with a permanent question mark next to his head, the dude's head is totally empty just living his life while everything burns around him
He's some kind of autist/sociopath really. He is not a bad person per se, he just doesn't have empathy and understanding of how people feel, yet he is still fully functional and supports his family financially pretty well. Which means he needs care and therapy to basically lead him by the hand (not figurally), and show/explain him what is the right way to care about his close ones and what/why they feel. Meaning, you don't get angry at a physically disabled person, if you're a decent human being. And he is disabled, but emotionally, while being fully functional physically, which means he just needs guidance.

Dad is going to be the hardest. He just isn't living in reality. He's living in his own head and she's going to have to break him out and face the world. But that's going to be hard cause if he wants to he'll just never see reality. Luckily we've already started on the mom, let's hope the sister isn't too hard either.

Nah. I can hate him. He watched his family burn down and only cared about keeping up appearances. You have to be either completely broken or truly sociopathic to be like that. Even Yotsuba's words did not get through to him.

He doesn't care about appearances tho. Otherwise he wouldn't be okay with his daughter quitting school and becoming a neet.

Instead he went 'Oh okay' and started giving her money for her neet lifestyle.

He just seems genuinely incapable of understanding how to actually achieve his 'be a good father / husband' objective beyond the most surface level stuff.

I personally don't think Yotsuha is the Clover, since it is established, that time travel functions through replacing your former self, so there is always only one Yotsuha.
It pains me, but my money is currently on the other childhood friend. She knows Uichi ad his friends and family long enough, and she too could be a timetraveler.

I fucking can, this stupid piece of shit is acting malignantly ignorant of horrible things that are happening right in his face, and all the while patting himself on the back for being such a good dad.

I'm wondering what crime she got the sister on? I don't think we saw anything illegal from her.
There are lot possibilities with her being lazy, not wanting to take accountability, not willing to listen, blaming other people from what she did to herself... I am guessing, she went and stole something and got caught...

I was somewhat right in my prediction from before. My original theory was that we would see her get the revenge in depth and then realise it would destroy Uichi, but we are skipping to the "fix it" route.
This was kind of obvious that it was going to happen. I'm glad the author skipped that whole arc and went straight to the "fix route"

But that means she went so far into the future to do what she did. She must be about 20 now...
I mean, it shouldn't be that far in the future because they still looked the same age in the flashback. But she definitely has at least one or two years on her at this point.

You gotta wonder how he landed a job, a wife, and two kids with a head that doesnt even have half a braincell
Seriously, if one could get a job or start a family even in THAT state, there wouldn't be unemployment or birth rate concern anymore.

No, it's easy to put someone in jail, especially if they're that volatile like his sister. Just cut off the internet like before, blame someone else, make her believe that that person did it to her, she attack them, you catch that shit on camera, boom assault charges, now she's in prison.
