Don't worry, no signs of axing, there's still much mystery to unravel in the later chapters.

Reminder that money is likely to be mostly the efforts of Uichi's mother and yet Uichi's father is the one being the loudest about it, does feel like he only gets the sense of urgency when money is on the line, as in the initial "unhappy" ending Yotsuha mentioned Uichi's father does still appear to be in a stable state.

Oh and this is the only time Uichi's dad is visibly unhappy even up until the latest chapters, granted he did not have much screen time but still.

With the change of the scammer's behaviour as mentioned by yotsuha, clover definitely knows about yotsuha's time hopping and is trying to cause as much chaos in the shortest time possible to make sure things go right for them.
