just wanted normal life
We don't know about the brother yet. Maybe he'll help her escape on later chapters? But I learnt to abandon hope on this manga. Hoping will get you more fucked later on around here.Look, criticize me for judging appearances, but I would never trust someone who has actual demon eyes like her and the brother.
Look up former child actress Jennette McCurdy and what her family (specifically her mother) put her through for the sake of her acting career. She wrote it all down in her book. This mother is absurdly monstrous, yes, but I don't think it's nearly that far beyond the realm of possibility.Ah, finally we can discuss the chapter.
We still know nothing of the misterious older brother, the stepfather killed himself I guess?
The mother...oh boy, is hard to criticize her, I think the author overreached with this one, she is cartoonishly evil, it feels too out there, I think he could have delivered the same result with a bit more tact, you can have the mother who pins all her hope on her child becoming a superstar, I have seen it too, but to the point that they threaten to cut them up with a smile....eh........could/should have been delivered better.
Maybe is because the author doesn't want to dedicate too many chapters on this flashback and so is doing the mom a quick and dirty job?
Is not that abusive mothers don't exist, is how it was delivered, too many negative characters around these 2, surely there must be a good family member somewhere.Look up former child actress Jennette McCurdy and what her family (specifically her mother) put her through for the sake of her acting career. Edit: oh yah nevermind he committed sudoku forgot abt that
When was it implied the brother committed suicide? I though all he did was continue to support Yotsuba after her hospitalization? Is not that abusive mothers don't exist, is how it was delivered, too many negative characters around these 2, surely there must be a good family member somewhere.

Ironic how the only good parent is that motherfucking Yae's mother who is never shown to have mistreated her son nor enabled any of his evil actions...Is not that abusive mothers don't exist, is how it was delivered, too many negative characters around these 2, surely there must be a good family member somewhere.
Which chapter was that?
More peak please !

I would agree with you. But happy sugar life had Shoko. And most everyone else was a mess or evil. I fucking hate Satou. But I pity & love Asahi, Yuna, and even Mitsuboshi.I've already commented on the other translation so I'm gonna copy my comments for sake of discussion here.
Basically if a story is overloaded with shock value, at a certain point it is starting to get unbelievable. The fact that there isn't a single decent person in this series is starting to overstep the mark.
I hope it doesn't turns into another Sugar happy life. The fact that there wasn't a single decent person in the whole town got so ridiculous and unbelievable I couldn't take the shock scenes serious after the half point.
Ijimeru Yabai Yatsu at least went so far full blown over the top, the mangaka went with it and turned it into a bullying comedy. The first few chapters contain gore and torture for shock value and then suddenly we are reading about a Rube-goldberg-bullying-machine and other nonsense lol. Won't work with this series because it actually tries to stay serious and dramatic. We will see how well that's gonna work.
The Older brother was the one who killed himself. Doesnt seem there is a step father.Ah, finally we can discuss the chapter.
