Ok but who is this other clover though? Legit someone else has practically done the same thing but seemingly JUST to fuck Uchi over.
I think it's her brother, like maybe her brother doesn't want her to have a happying ending and want her to have trauma and to continue oh the mother's set path

And now, we have one answer to "I killed Uichi".

I wonder if there are any others?

Also, I'm wondering if we're going to see what happened with Yotsuha's older brother.

She WILL help him become strong enough to be his old self. They WILL both be strong enough to stop Clover as a team. When the weight of single-handedly fixing multiple people's lives with no rest finally catches up with her, he WILL be ready to support her as much as she has done for him. They WILL live together and they WILL be happy.

We just have to believe.
I'm down with this, but I'm reminded of a scene I never really got from one Peter Pan movie…

I mean, i dunno how much more Yotsuha's mental health can take, maybe the manga can keep going for a long time, but I don't think she can...

She need to let it out eventually and open up to someone, and if it is Uichi....would he believe her? If so would he be able to take knowing how much suffering she went through for his sake? And would he be able to help put her back together when she's in a thousand pieces? Even if it takes years?

As I said before, everyone has a limit, no matter their willpower, and Yotsuha will reach hers sooner or later

A few chapters ago she gets the watch in the spring of her second year of highschool. Now this chapter ends with her returning to the spring of her second year of highschool.

So that is my guess is that point in spring, in her second year of highschool, is the earliest point in time that she can go rewind to. She can only go back to when she is in hospital. She can't prevent the family's initial downfall, stop the middle school bullying or fix the first year of highschool. It is a good limit, I think, because otherwise just find Clover as a baby.

It is interesting, because we did see that, but I believe it is implied at the same time that the Fuu-chan who outed Yae is from a timeline that was replaced before we even started the story. If that holds true, the current Fuu-chan we get to see isn't the same one who outed Yae to Yotsuha, so wouldn't have been able to plan around it. The Fuu-chan we have seen has only been asked to track down Clover, a task she might be dragging her feet on. And after Yotsuha got her involved in this timeline, Clover started asking about "Uichi's friend" unprovoked.

I think Rei-kun being Clover is a misdirect. I see no explicit information to assume it is Yotsuha's brother other than him being a character that exists. I might drop the manga if it introduces the level of time-travel shenanigans two competing time rewinders would involve.

I think most of the information we have available at this chapter heavily implicates Fuu-chan being Clover. She knows Uichi early enough to form a weird grudge before he starts middle school. She shows a high level of affection towards to Yotsuha, similar to how Yae did and maybe enough to adopt her clover motif. Yotsuha leaked snippets of what is actually going on to her. She was shown to have a superior intellectual ability even as a child, which was probably enough to manipulate a slightly older sister and destroy a family. She has the computer ability to do everything Clover has done. In a lot of her scenes, her reactions are purposefully obscured from us by the mangaka. I think we never get to see her internal dialogue.

But because it feels like the mangaka wants us to think it's her, it is actually probably not her.
Ultimately there is purposeful misdirection and the very real possibility the mangaka doesn't even know the answer as they're pushing out chapters. Their income depends on keeping this going as long as possible, so it is more likely we are going to get a handful of new characters that could all potentially be Clover than it is that we get answers anytime soon. It is very very fun to speculate, but ultimately pointless.
yeah she seems the most suspicious at this point. They did show the other kids profile picture when he sent that text and it was just his face instead of a clover. maybe he was trying to tear down the happy guy or maybe he's done nothing except show his saviour the way out of this twisted world.

her brothers been way too chill to be a siscon but fuu-chan does have a weird amount of focus on her.

only counter point would be how she did properly hack into the sisters account and show all the logs.

I am kinda curious how Yotsuba found out about Uichi's middle school horrorshow and Eito being its ringleader (sure it is proudly on his account but how did she think to look to begin with), granted she definitely knows about the bastard's blackmail picture of Uichi (given she makes his near death experience to specifically destroy the phone and the image forever)... leads to some nightmarish implications in prior rewinds...

The implication is that Yotsuha has been pulling a Dr. Strange and rewinding herself dozens if not hundreds of times in order to do everything possible to guarantee Uichi's happiness and mental stability. To put it in a more relatable perspective, she's been save-scumming for a 100% completion golden ending with all the side quests completed and no loose ends left over. Even when she had things almost perfect- like Uichi's family dealt with, Yae out of the picture, etc- she ultimately chose to rewind because it wasn't good enough.

For real, isn't this the kind of devotion and resolve they make the Persona games off of? Like... Christ. Her sheer pure-hearted devotion to Uichi and his happiness- by his definition of happiness, not what she thinks should make him happy- is undescribable. And she's been doing all of this alone.

I unironically think Yotsuha has perhaps the strongest will I have ever seen in a manga, full-stop.

I did forget that whole scene. And also didn't notice it when I was skimming back through.

It's definitely an exception to my image of her from her other scenes, though if she were Clover it would be after she's had time to plan around Yotsuha. It is interesting that the scene is directly preceded by Clover monologuing about Yotsuha.

It really makes me question if I read too much into her obscured reactions/hidden eyes in some other panels (very likely).

My guess? The mastermind is someone who can see the future, that's the only way for it to make sense to me, it should be an ability that would let them "react" to Yotsuba travelling back in time, but doesn't allow them to actually travel back in time.

They saw a future that made them hate Uichi and orchestrated events to cause his suicide, but then Yotsuba travelled back in time which caused the vision of the Future to change which in turn caused the mastermind to act differently. The important part is that they're always simply reactive to Yotsuba's actions and not causing it.
