I mean I wouldn't disregard it, but Hate is the opposite of love. What if she really liked him, but because of all the bullying, he treated her like she didn't mean it, and it broke her heart? But it was always this easy until now, so I don't expect some deeper meaning anymore.

I think it's too clear cut to call Hate the opposite of Love, sweetness can turn to bitterness real quick

Reminds me of the wake of Columbine: Afterward, one of the jocks who had done their best to make those kids' lives hell… held forth on-camera, about how the shooting proved they were right to do so all along.

Human ego does an amazing job at letting people absolve themselves of the consequences of their actions. (Even in the overwhelming majority of cases where the victim doesn't snap, and just suffers.)

I think rather than cracking, the new cover represents Yotsuha's determination to survive her mother's abuse.

I think it might be Yotsuha at Uichi's wake in the first timeline, actually - she's wearing the watch, so this can only have been after she's hospitalized and she wears her middle school uniform to the wake. My guess is this is supposed to depict the moment she breaks down sobbing in the aftermath and the watch takes her back in time.

Com base no que Uichi lembrava, parece que a hipótese de que ela se confessou para ele no ensino fundamental estava correta.

Meu palpite é que ela o convidou para sair ironicamente, para intimidá-lo de qualquer maneira, mas quando ele recusou, ela interpretou isso como um ataque, porque ela é louca.

exatamente vermes como Rikka, Eito e Yae são movidos pelo ego e pela maldade pura, eles não amam ninguém, eles apenas usam as pessoas para se divertir com sua dor, verdadeiros monstros que merecem toda a dor que receberam

Feels like we’re at a midpoint now, might only be Rikka and the “mastermind” left, barring new characters or a crazy swerve.

I just caught up today but I was surprised how many people took the Evil Mother arc's "resolution" at face value. The news of her death came from the brother and while I've mostly not suspicious of him anymore, it seems too convenient that she died off screen with no other external confirmation. Also, did I miss something or was the middle school bully victim/childhood friend Rei not resolved at all? I thought the nerdy kid from a few chapters ago was someone else.

Yeah, I am aware that whatever happened between her and Uichi must have been long ago, maybe in middle school

And idk, I just feel sad looking at it, since i know that her determination can only last so far; sooner or later her psyche or body will give in, at the end of the day she is human like the rest of us.

I’m going to be 100% honest, i just want her to threaten everyone involved at gunpoint (with real intent to kill ofc, and guaranteed kill on yae) until one of them reveals themselves as the mastermind. Spamming resets with schemes is cool but god does it take a long time and new enemies keep showing up

I mean she just about sewerslided someone with a train. I know shes got this no kill policy from the family... but how would they know if someone casually slipped and fell directly into a passing shinkansen.

But like you pointed out, there are many methods to make sure people stop being threats and give up info, then...

Its like we didnt even crush that man's testicles with a pair of vise grips! She has a heart of gold, but the core of it needs to be a little blacker if she wants this done.

On a really crazy note, just thoughts that came out as I binge read all of this, could Uichi of an alternate "successful" timeline be the mastermind? In like a really twisted way, say if in that time line where Yotsuha saves him from his demise and brings him a better life right, but it comes at the expense of her own life. Having overworked herself to succeed in accomplishing this outcome she goes back to have the heart surgery too late, or not at all and she dies as a result. Perhaps for one reason or another she had admitted all that she had done to Uichi, and/or he ends up in similar turmoil over her death he too end up getting the ability to travel back in time. Unable to live with the thought that he would ultimately be the very reason he one he loved would end up dying, he orchestrates this whole plan, knowing just the right people to push towards malicious actions against his alternate self. Not necessarily thinking about what that might do to her as a result merely just wanting her to be alive regardless of the consequences.

Now since we also don't have any real reason to believe two of the same person can exist simultaneously, or at least not through the same method like the watch, the idea of alternate version time travelers is a hard to pass idea. So don't currently believe this is an actually plausibility, but it was a fun thought experiment I wanted to share.

Loving this story so far, but ever since her reveal of her heart condition, I am scared this isn't going to end well. We have no way of knowing waiting that long for the surgery is good for her and will even work, or if it does work, won't have sever consequences. This story concept of a kinda reverse tragedy is very fun to read though and hoping it continues that through to completion and ends happily. Undoing all the damage and tragic events to hopefully create a happy future, and they aren't being too crazy with the time travel stuff that it's hard to follow or creates logic holes so great work on that.

Oh also, I don't envy her, though I heavily admire her resolve to push through all this trauma and have to live without telling anyone, that she has essentially seen the dead body and even death of the one she loves who knows how many times. Can say I'd probably try for the same if I was directly in her shoes for someone I loved so dearly like that, but to go through and live with that, she is super smart, and very dedicated. The emotional bomb of all this though I imagine has to detonate eventually.

Honestly, for me at least, that would make it even worse. If she really liked him, then got rejected and came to hate him so much that she wants him to be bullied, I've got to wonder if that could have even been considered love in the first place.

I agree with you but hate is not the opposite of love. It is relatively common to both love and hate someone. Opposite of both love and hate is indifference is.
