Rather than harming him, I think she wanted to show him her wounds and scars so that she can mentally pressure him to never leave her alone at the same time she thinks of him as a means to vent her frustrations out. It's some fucked up abandonment issues with superiority complex.

I think I'll make some predictions. Dad's probably a cheater because of course he is. That's like the easiest thing to do to paint a man as evil. Either that or in conjunction with the sister being so depressed he did something to his own daughter and she's like that because of him and the mother found out but refused to leave him and her mental state just declined, or the daughter was treated the same way the protag is at school and broke down to bullying till she became a shut in.

If I'm wrong that'll instantly make this story more interesting to me in how the protag's life degraded so badly he's a gloomy blubbering mess.

I don't think the twist is gonna be she's evil. I think the twist has been telegraphed already: she came out of nowhere, knows too much about events she shouldn't have any awareness of, and seems utterly unconcerned with the clear distress of the family.

yeah but that lack of care could lead to her making things worse and just going "oops, i guess i'll just rewind time and try again" (or whatever the clover bracelet does that seems to be important to the plot)

While it's not impossible, he's like, what, 15-16 max? It'd be pretty hard to just up and leave on your own unless the girl conveniently has enough money for him to stay in a cheap apartment (but even in a 'normal ' circumstance idk how many ppl would have a desire to move out before 18 versus them being like ambitious/moving away for UNI versus being kicked out [other than some schools being strict on working/part time job i remember hearing you don't technically have to go to high school and can work out of middle school, tho i imagine it's not many job opportunities/probably looked down upon if you don't go through with high school unless it's a situation where money is more important and going back to night school afterwards in your 20s or so])

Well some ppl just have mental issues that don't show up later in life, like that one with the "should i throw this family away" manga with the mom/wife being unreasonable about the boundary/daughter but i wouldn't be surprised if something set her off just from a story telling part b/c "people changing to an extreme/being a shitty person for no (apparent) reason" happens a lot IRL, it'd be too 'cheap' as a plot device

Hopefully it's done well but other than 'saving him', it'd kinda leave a bad taste if it's like "she's the reason his life went to shit and she 'saves' him just so she can have him all to herself" or something like that
