The only surefire way to avoid spoilers is for TL to go along with the raws or as fast as possible since there isn't a novel of this, but if there was one, there would be no way to escape spoilers.

(at least I tried to be vague and only gave a page number for people to go and check at their own risk)

I haven't read past this chapter, but it's seemed like she traveled back in time somehow (maybe her watch has something to do with it). It seems fairly clear that Uichi ended up killing himself, so she's trying to change enough so he doesn't "this time"
