Like, a god now? And the guy got released? For what reason? His arc had already been masterfully completed, what more could they do with him? At this point, it's just reusing the character for no reason. He probably won't do sht at the end

Im sure the author knew the reason for the time leaps the whole time. And this is the last arc so whatever's happening would use any pawns the big bad has. Doesn't feel like a lack of ideas, just the natural path the story was taking
