Yoko's a former male, but probably not the sort that took a ton of pride in her identity outside of her intense love for idols.
To now be the very thing that she's always loved feels to her probably like more than a fair trade-off. It's kinda nice that Yoko's very natural as a girl but her former self sometimes does creep into how she interacts with others or her own social awkwardness.
Very wholesome slice of life gender bend manga, overall. I don't even find it all that unrealistic how she's rolling with it either, there are guys and girls alike who aren't super attached to their gender role. If you're to ask Yoko I bet she'd say that she was a failure of a man before so there wasn't really much lost. (does anyone else think she was probably way too hard on herself? I know plenty of actual "disgusting otaku" and none of them resemble a gentle shy/softspoken idol enthusiast.)
