This is the issue when you forget to give virtues to your MC. Now he's doing what most readers demand for in a harem setting and I can't cheer for him.

Why? Because he's dumb. And because he's dumb it makes his feelings come off as shallow. Going after a harem ending so easily makes one think he doesn't really care about the difficulties. It's the same problem I have with Highschool DxD's Issei, but engorged in the worst possible way. Unlike the latter, he hasn't grown in the least. He's still the same brainless pervert he was in chapter 1.

It's more than that, the two are part of the same person just different facet of her personnality enhanced in each as the other part is missing, him wanting both means he loves her complete self which is the point of the curse in a sense, no one chose both and only went with the part they preferred not truly loving the person as a whole. It's why he couldn't make a choice and decided on both of them because he loves each facet equally.

I'm willing to bet at the end the goddess fuse the two together back.

He's also well aware that getting in a relationship with Erika isn't going to be easy (he had to sneak into her birthday party just to give her his present). He was also offered the easy choice of going out with his cute childhood friend who confessed to him and doesn't bring all the complications related to the Ayanomine family, yet he refused.
Noborou doesn't ignore the difficulties that lie ahead of him, he has the determination to overcome them.
