In history, Shibashou was dismissed from his position due to court politics. So I wonder how this will play out.
Am I remembering it wrong, or didn't that happen when the fatass Prime Minister who is in charge banished Riboku to the outskirts of Zhao when they lost Houken??

Wasn’t expecting Funny Valentine to be part of the Zhao army.

sure Riboku the Qin army is predictable but have you heard of the Duke Hyou style of "fuck it just go" that shin has adopted

Ouhon continuing to look down and be a jerk towards Shin is just vindictive at this point and having that kind of attitude towards your fellow general fighting together in a huge important campaign is detrimental for everyone on the Qin side.

"we beat kanki very easily"
Yeah i bet thats what you told the guys at the tavern riboku. Those wounds you got and kaine coming back half dead were just because you fell off your horse on the way back or something

Hahaha, I remember exactly why I don't like Riboku. The in-universe people really like jerking him off every time he appears and 90% of his roster feels like his Yes man more than anything.

I am once again expecting Riboku to take the Qin army by surprise five times through incredible feats of future sight, until somehow Shin manages to overcome his expectations. Getting a little fed up with Riboku always foreseeing every single thing Qin does with Qin's generals and strategic masterminds never able to see it coming.

How can a country so dumb be such a force to reckon with?
He just happened to be good at where it matters. He's not the best fighter but he has probably the best spy network that gives him intel and he exploits it with a strategy planned ahead (proof of this is how he beat Kanki by baiting him into a trap he knew was willing to take but when Kanki escaped and countered with a ambush, he was reliant on luck that his men would reach him first, Riboku is good on the initiative because of intel but can't do anything if his enemies pulls it off first). If his enemies allowed him to make the first move, he can plan ahead and set up traps and Qin falls for it due to coincidentally not learning of the trap ahead of time. That's why he always comes out on top is because he definitely knows how Qin moves and they emphasized this in the last arc
and it's definitely Youka who consistently betrays Qin since he's in every state's pocket.
