Shin makes a good point. None of this is normal, the Chouhei massacre wasn't normal, Mangoku's bloodthirsty power isn't normal, lots of people become war orphans and they don't go in to become genociders.

Of course, what's sad is that being a war orphan IS normal. And that's what has to change. The problem is the system, not humanity itself. Of course, if humanity proves itself to be unable to fix said system, then maybe the fault is in our nature... All we can do is make things Right within our own sphere of influence.
