Yes! This is basically what shin and Gyou'un did on the third day. They both poke each other at certain points and Shin manage to discern the origin of the attack and Gyou'un intentions. The "Blaze" That Shin and Duke Hyou always spoke of is the successful application of breaking down Origins and Hitting the enemy where it hurts.
