Kyoukai truly did a fine job, now it's time for Shin to finish him. And if you didn't notice Houken called Kyoukai "GOD caller". I think with a title like this surviving a few more hits than your average Bob is a given. At this point it's not even plot armor, it's just the setting.

@Dersimo Hm I dunno about that. Last time they clashed Shin got in a good hit and now he's much stronger. Granted that he's super tired but Kyokai did a lot of damage to Houken too

Rereading this fight, it would have been a hundred times better written if kyoukai just won right there. This whole bushin subplot isn't bad per se, just not well executed.
