@Megane2426 They're going to rob every village in the path towards the capital city, with specific orders from Ousen to not harm/rape civilians since they'll be citizens of Qin soon enough.
I hope we don't get another digression into how war is hell on innocent peasants here. It's obviously true, and appropriate for the series' themes, but the author keeps hitting the same plot beats with it, and the last thing we need is another diversion. Shin hinting at his concern feels like enough.
Shut the hell up. A story needs plot, pacing, intrigue, details, etc. Without those, it's a hollow shell—in this case, meaningless, context-less fights.
