With this and the previous chapters we can begin to see the first part of the bloody chaos that this battle will be. A bunch of commanders have already fallen, the top generals are falling to place and the armies are beginning to be spent.

I just want to see my boy Akou brutally murder someone of renown before he dies.

and if Ousen wins it'll either be because someone else went ultra instinct or because Shibashou's buff ran out

I'm tired of the JUST A KEIKAKU of Riboku and the overpowered ultrainstict Zhao's generals. I know this is a shonen but at least i want some RL strategy
I wonder if the mangaka gonna be faithfull of the RL downfall of all this people and Zhao

Man, I really thought Ribock was done this time. Back to the fight, I guess, where no other shenanigans will happen, I'm sure.

just gotta say, with all these resources that Riboku have since the first battle against Qin, can we really say the Zhao leadership hold him back that much? They mention that, but this is a lot of power. The only one where I agree they really hold him back is when they put him in jail.

Not only that, Seika most likely only fought against the Xiongnu and avoided Zhao's current wars until now. They also have a high camaraderie and morale stemming from love for their home city so that must mean they have a smaller but seasoned force that kept themselves alive by fighting a reactionary defensive war against strong enemy they're used to so they can slowly become more experienced rather than risk themselves on every battlefield with random foes. Zhao is also known for their fast steeds because they were the first to utilize horses as cavalry instead of chariots. Seika might house the most powerful cavalry force in all of the 7 states.

Seika is located on the east of Zhao close to Yans borders, i believe next to a river(not entirely sure). They are nowhere near the northern borders as cities like hika and hango are way further north and Ganmon the city riboku was Lord of took the brunt of the fighting with the Xiongnu so that completely eliminates the point that the seika armies fought Xiongnu to get so strong. We know seika avoids wars to do with zhao so from this we can tell the only battles that befall the army is if they are attacked from the east from either yan or qi. Now the fact is that their isn't much intel on this city as when yan attacked with ordo he was suprised at zhao having such a "sleeping tiger". we can assume from this they don't have much large scale battles so really from haras writing the only thing that could make their soldiers so strong is literally training. Which is kind of a big steaming dump on the experience and wars that ousen and his armies have fought through.
