This one's interesting. First we have the return of the jumping woman- for my money one of the most chilling standalone tales in this. Note the specifying it's her childhood bedroom- we saw before the Jumping Woman mentioned as being known for peeping into houses with children in them.

And then we have the inside of the shrine full of girl dolls. Proxies.

Alright. So in this manga, the "strange things" are able to proliferate and move around using digital media. Perhaps it's not so much as they literally transport themselves across space and time this way, but that they are able to manifest whenever and wherever people say something about them online. In a way, this touches on an aspect of horror/supernatural storytelling that the Japanese really like: belief in the supernatural directly correlates in how strong the supernatural phenomenon is. A phenomenon's very existence hinges on this belief, that deities can completely disappear if no one believes in them anymore. Conversely, let's say this deity has disappeared from a region that used to worship it; if a different region suddenly experiences a resurgence in belief towards the same deity, the deity can instead start manifesting in the other region.

Now if we apply this to the "strange things" in this manga, is it possible someone is intentionally trying to keep online speculation about these beings alive, so the beings themselves in turn continue existing?
