I had to read this several times. This really escalates things. The phenomenon is not only affecting a huge mass of people but it seemly knows how to intergrate into society and even manipulate people via proxies. Scary shit.
I tried to find some clues but nothing concrete in this chapter. I thought the place where the event happened was the same appartment from earlier but comparing side by side, this chapter's is clearly more high end, with even an included art gallery for some paintings and a...rock? I noticed that thing was the only thing not sparkling but eh, probably just overthinking it.
When the giant tori gate appeared, the crowded excitingly engage with each other in that strange language. They weren't even looking at the projection after the first glance...I don't get it. Was it a trigger for something? And why didn't it affact E-san? Maybe that's why they're sticking the empty tori on his door...they're trying to turn him. It's purpose seem to be different from the other tori from the previous chapter.
