Finally an update on this!

I thought the door was to the dungeon, but guess not, and he had to stealth his way in. His friends sure are luckier than the other explorers getting destroyed by higher level monsters. Considering that the monsters have been killing indiscriminately, I'm not sure why we should expect the girl to still be alive.

I wonder how the arachne will react to him. He hardly looks human, so I wonder if it'll recognise him as a foe, but also monsters appear to be able to detect his strength and prefer to avoid him (or at least, the red slimes could).

Just a WAG, but the individuals that were killed seemed to all be male... so if one of the monsters could use other species as seedbeds, it would make sense to take females alive.

NGL, I find the MC being tied up kind of stupid. Not only are slimes known to be corrosive, but their flexible, jelly like bodies makes binding anything but the core kind of pointless.

When zoomed in, there is a visible distortion at the middle (point of join), I assume it's because the pages were for some reason unscaled. Upscaling after the pages were joined together would eliminate those artifacts.

As someone who has read the entire WN. I am very interested in this now. The MC being able to transform into a slime and just hide in a bag is 100% not something he had in WN. In fact his lack of ability to transform into anything that could hide that well becomes a major plot point.

So they are doing a complete overhaul of the story and not just an extra bonus story arc and I'm totally here for it (the OG story was ok, but it definitely had way more potential just screaming for some polish).
