Idk about the JP equivalent, but in English, "Witch" wasn't a gendered term until a century ago (and it only really solidified a few decades ago with everyone's favorite scapegoat author).

The chapter 9 Raw on the official raw link was only released 2 days ago. The point I usually question if it's ended is when it reaches a year. Manga releases take time, and so does translating it.
