Oh, good start for story setup. Little to no things I wanna complain, it's just good.
Also, I love this kind of story. No romance indicated heavily and it seems the only focus of the story is on her side most of the times. But maybe there will be times to focusing on the prince's side of story, which if done badly might just be another kuma desu ga situation again XD

it's understandable though.

here's a boy of young age. indoctrinated in the ways of the royals. his family was promised a bride who can be of use to them, but suddenly the one that came can't use magic. it's an insult right to his family's face. not to mention she's not his childhood friend or whatever. he also seems to be working already, so the possibility that he will be the 1st crown prince in the kingdom's history that have a 'defective' wife must be gnawing at him.

In no particular order, some major, some minor spoilers.

Spoiler: Marietta's life going forward

is just her enjoying her new magic capable body, using magic to enjoy life (cooking, cleaning, etc) and try to build her reputation as a reformed 'good witch'

while deep down having her own self-blaming thoughts (that maybe the witch granted her true wish of 'escaping the princess's duty', etc)

For the most part she's still the oblivious optimistic ball of sunshine

Spoiler: witch's identity

Is actually Marietta's twin sister, Claudette.

Their country once had a bloody civil war due to twin princes fighting for the throne, so twins were seen as sign of trouble.
However the prime minister managed to plead to let the two live since they're girls.
So they decided to raise one as the official princess, while hiding the other one away.

She suffered through the neglected child life (live in small room, given minimal food, strict education, maids abusing her)
The inciting incident is when a maid burned her face and she ran away from the country.
She wandered into a witch's hut who took her in as disciple.
However she realized later that the witch planned to sacrifice her to summon a demon.
So the girl flip the table by messing with the formula, summoned this white dragon and killed the witch.

She then moved to this forest and prepared the body swap spell

Spoiler: more of above+a bit of ending stuffs

Her reason boiled down to revenge/jealousy.
She thought Marietta was raised with love all around (which was the case back in their country)

However after swapping their bodies, at some point Claudette started seeing Marietta's memories and realized that Marietta had her own sufferings (meanwhile Marietta also learn of Claudette's existence through similar memory resurfacing on her side, making her feel bad that the 'useless' her was the one raised as princess and never even know she has a twin sister)

During her time as 'Marietta' she talked and argued with the prince a lot, but somewhere along the line she started falling for him (and him to her)
But that made her guilty conscience about stealing Marietta's body grew stronger.
At one point she was even preparing to sneak out of the castle to bring Marietta back.
But the prince found out, which led to her confessing the whole thing.
He still forgive/accept her.
