Definitely an axed ending, it's a let down that the majin match was actually weaker than a lot of the earlier matches that Kiriya had to go through to reach this position. Well, this was alright. Really didn't like Kiriji as the MC, never felt like rooting for him. An was much more enjoyable as a MC.
After hyping it up all the time, Majin's rewind ability was only used for his character motivation, rather than gameplay. Meh.
But the mahjong gameplay was nice in general, even if the plot was all over the place in these 3 series.
